The Secretary of State for Youth and Sports, Laurentino Dias, the Mayor of Viana do Castelo, Defensor Moura, and the President of the Portuguese Surfing Federation, João Guilherme Bastos, presented on 26 June the High Performance Surfing Center of Viana do Castelo.

This important infrastructure will be a key element for the national sports development and the affirmation of the city of Viana do Castelo  and the north of Portugal as a destination of excellencie for the practice of Surf and Bodyboard,. This is another important milestone in the history of surfing in Portugal.
